UPDATE: The bunnies made it through the night! They were very active this morning when I checked on them. They had also produced urine and feces, so we know they appreciated the KMR (kitten meal replacement - like baby formula) we gave them last night. We contacted our local Audubon Society this morning and took the babies to them. They will be contracting their care to a professional, which is a much better option for the little guys than having to deal with Nick and I ;-) Nick found these bunnies at work today. He accidentally chopped up their nest. He made them another nest nearby, and we waited all day for "mom" to come back and nurse the babies ... rabbits usually feed their babies at dusk. We didn't see that mom had come back, so we took them home to try and keep them alive. They are so damn cute!
